you feel that way real strong is an immersive installation exploring my religious upbringing by utilizing multiple video projections, sound, and felt scrims that are reminiscent of church banners. The banners are adorned with a Bible verse handwritten by my great-grandfather who was a Pentecostal preacher and then laser cut into the scrim by me. Through a patchwork of original and found footage, the installation attempts to capture some of the universal truths that religion offers without celebrating or criticizing it.
